Jenny has taught in many schools before moving to Taos, and now she feels like she has finally found the perfect fit in Vista Grande. She earned a BA in Spanish from Nazareth College in Rochester, NY and has lived in Spain and Colombia. She earned a Master’s in Teaching from the University of Pittsburgh and began her teaching career many years ago in the Pittsburgh Public Schools before moving to Colorado. There she taught Spanish, English, Social Studies and had been an Instructional Coach. When not teaching, Jenny can be found hiking, backpacking, biking or skiing with her husband, two teenagers and two dogs.

Nicole is a third year teacher at VGHS. She hails from New Jersey and earned a B.A. from Rutgers University in both English and Philosophy. After graduating, Nicole worked for 5 years in graphic design before returning to graduate school. In 2005, she earned a M.A. in Creative Writing from Temple University in Philadelphia. Soon after, Nicole was hired at The University of the Arts where she taught writing for 8 years. In addition, Nicole worked at UPenn at the Linguistic Data Consortium. When Nicole is not teaching, she can be found in the kitchen whipping up vegan baked goods and cuisine. She lives in Arroyo Seco with her three dogs, cat, and long time partner.
